Technical lights.
A versatile and functional lighting system that extends the conductivity concept employing a signature “light track”, combined with a variety of complementary components.
As a result of mixing accent, reflected, and diffuse lighting, these system creates gradients of light density, allowing designers to play with visual hierarchy and create different scenes within a space.
Designed by Antoni Arola for high-end lightning company VIBIA. Inspired in a circus atmosphere whose main characters are it's equilibrists, fascinating lights, and shadows.
Composed by different types of light tracks, for modular or independent lights and accessories.

Tasks and activities:
Assited technical office in lightning product engineering.
Mechanical design of +30 system parts.
Drawing, 3D model, 3D printing, product validation, prototyping, Requests for Quotation, Design For Manufacturing, homologation, tooling, and assembly line instructions.
Product engineer of modular canopy systems, counterweights, shadow disks, snoots, suspension, fixations, and many other parts.
Re-design existing parts fixing mechanical issues.
Quality and production optimization.
2D drawing records for production, machining, painting, after-process, quality, and assembly.
Product tests: light, color, finish, electronic charge, weight resistance, durability, water tightness, and homologation requests.
Mount products for showroom and fair expositions: models, prototypes, and final assemblies.
Manage internal and external suppliers for 3D prints, standard parts, custom parts, production, and mounting.
Light scenery composition.
