ASIA | Decorative lights
2025/2026 - External mechanical designer working in VIBIA for FUTURE FIT ENGINEERING.
The Asia collection, designed by Antoni Arola, captures the tranquil calm of traditional East Asian roofscapes and the delicacy of shaped glass creating a light fitting defined by clean lines and a subtle presence.
Its shape recalls the form of a house, a classic volume that protects the light within, where fragility and conceptual weight combine in measured precision.
Glass defines Asia’s aesthetic. Its translucent surface attenuates the light and creates a warm, tranquil glow, while the metal structure provides a discreet frame that accentuates the contrast between materiality and lightness.
This combination allows the light fitting to interact with the space without overwhelming it, easily integrating with any setting.
Available in pendant, table and floor versions, Asia can adapt its aura to different environments, from hanging configurations that complement the surrounding architecture to more proximate points of light that favour intimate and precise lighting.
The collection maintains its essence in all versions: a nuanced, balanced and even illumination.

Engineer project manager in charge of mechanical design and development of the luminaire family.
Mechanical design of +100 parts.
Drawing, 3D model, 3D printing, product validation, prototyping, Requests for Quotation, Design For Manufacturing, homologation, tooling, and assembly line instructions.
Quality and production optimization.
2D drawing records for production, machining, painting, after-process, quality, and assembly.
Product tests: light, color, finish, electronic charge, weight resistance, durability, water tightness, and homologation requests.
Mount products for showroom and fair expositions: models, prototypes, and final assemblies.
Manage internal and external suppliers for 3D prints, standard parts, custom parts, production, and mounting.
